I have been a client and Magicpacker of Louise Marie's since 1990. At that time, one of the bands that I was playing with was producing a video and she was the hair stylist that was hired by the production house for the shoot. I immediately liked how she got my hair to lay. The more I spoke to her that day, the more I realized how serious and knowledgeable she was. My first cut at her salon left no doubt that I had found a person who would not only cut my hair (and leave it long), but oversee and educate me on how to make it (and keep it) healthy.

In 1990 I was 31 years old and for at least 5 years before that I had been concerned about how much hair I was losing in the shower. In 2009 I turn 50. I have a full head of long dark hair and (my father's genes aside) I believe that this is due to Louise Marie's products and the techniques that she has shown me to use them. You only need to use her products to appreciate their quality. I was impressed when I found out that she is her own chemist. These products are designed by her to be good for your hair and scalp. I believe that there is nothing on the market that is as good. On the rare occasion when I was forced to use commercial shampoo I was immediately aware of the harshness of the detergents and the garbage that is added to make these products look and smell the way they do. Her products are organic and mild and I can see and feel the difference that they make. It turns out that even the way you apply shampoo can have an impact on the condition of long hair. Another thing that other men with long hair might not appreciate is the benefit of having a good quality comb. I am not a person who obsesses about my hair. I have chosen to wear it long. Many of the gigs that I do these days require that I wear a suit, and I frequently have to cross the border to play in the US. I have found that keeping it healthy and groomed makes it less of a problem for people who might otherwise have an issue. It brings to mind a slogan that Louise Marie was using when I first went to her. "Don't stare, grow your own"

My experience with hair stylist before meeting Louise Marie was not good, partially because I gave them too much credit and let them talk me into haircuts that took years to grow out. The most traumatic of these haircuts was in 1986. I had been growing out layers that had been cut in by previous scissor-happy hair stylists, and was just to the point where the bottom layer could be cut into the one above. That year I was finishing the music program at Humber College and thought that I would get a trim for my final recital. I went to a place that my sister had recommended. I explained to the stylist that I was growing out these layers and needed to clean up the look for this recital. The very first thing this woman did after putting the apron on me was to gather my hair at my back. Then she actually said "say good-bye" and cut off my pony tail (from the middle of my back to my collar). She then took the hair she had just cut off into another room before coming back to finish the haircut. I'm sure the bitch sold my hair.

I have wanted to write a note of appreciation to Louise Marie for some time now. My hair gets cut less than twice a year. As I began to feel the need for a trim this last time, I happened to be driving by her salon and saw that she was no longer there. It was a number of weeks before I had the time in my schedule to call to make an appointment. For that time I did not know where or why she had moved or if the phone number would still be good. The possibility occurred to me that for any number of reasons, she may have closed after 30 years. I was quite relieved when I did call to find that she had moved only a couple of blocks to a new location that is bigger and better for her. I wish her great success at her new location and I will remain her client as long as I have hair and she has clients. And if you are in the Toronto area and happen to see a band with a sax player with long hair, please say hi. All the clients of Louise Marie that I have met are as interesting as she is.

 I really notice a difference with the Longhairs Omega 3 oils. 
For the first time ever, someone close to me (my husband in this case) caught a cold and I was the one who didn't.  This has never happened to me before.  The only thing different in my routine was that I started weight training and taking your omega 3 oils.  Also, I'm less fatigued and experiences a lot less joint pain.  I'm not even taking the top recommended does either (I'm doing the second best dose).

Little 4oz shampoos pumpers, are sweet!
All the pump caps are so handy! I don't need to guess at how much shampoo or conditioner I need, just remember how many pumps! Also helps you see which products you need more or less of. With the bigger bottles (I keep my 10-B in a larger container so that I'm not constantly refilling it), it's less strain on the body, because you're not picking up a full and heavy container.

I was first introduced to Louise Marie Longhairs and her fabulous hair products approximately 9 years ago.(and have Magicpacked ever since!)

 My best friend lived in an apartment across the street from her relaxed "non" salon and was dying to get her hair done by Louise Marie. I decided to give her her first appointment with Louise Marie as a birthday gift. I called and made an appointment for her consultation etc., I decided to get a consultation myself at the same time and settled the details with Louise Marie. Both of us had longish hair, (mine was just below my shoulders and my friend's was mid-back length). I told another friend of mine what we were doing and she wanted to come with us. I called back and arranged everything with Louise Marie. Great! All three of us would go together!

Finally the day of our appointment arrived. I was not planning to actually get my hair done by Louise Marie that night, I was just going to get a consultation and come back at a later time for a cut etc. That all changed once I saw the incredible transformation of both my friends' hair. WOW! We all got "the works". That is to say, we got the scalp treatment, deep cleansing and conditioning, as well as a fantastic cut! I absolutely HAD to get my hair done right then and there. Afterwards, we purchased our magic packs as well. With such a "WOW" transformation of our hair, we wanted to keep it that way. Healthy, shiny, full of body. I had never seen my hair look so good! Both of my friends felt the same way as I did, so we HAD to have the MAGIC PACK because it really was MAGIC! And Louise Marie was the magician!

Great Start Beginners Kit...
'I was very pleased...'

I just tried the #18 Scalp oil, BTN #2 shampoo, and #10-B-ME conditioner and I was very pleased with the speed (less than a minute) and ease with which I was able to comb through my wet hair with the Flexipick.

The last time I had washed my hair (with a different product) I was practically in tears from the 30+ minutes it took to detangle. At that time I also actually almost ended up having to cut off a large chunk of very badly tangled and matted hair.

I am delighted with your #10-B-ME conditioner and the Flexipick!!

Strange testimonial but true!!
So here goes:

A pleasant surprise when two large dogs get skunked at 2:00am !

As we all know there is no hope for it. If the little stinkers sleep inside (and even if they don't) they gotta be washed. So we gathered up our collection of dog washing items.

I took one look at that mottly collection and said "uh, I've got an idea". Out came a combination of the best non LMLonghairs thing we've ever found and my LML nicely full bottles of #2 BTN Superclear Shampoo and #9 Trees Conditioner.

1st ingredient is Massengil douch POWDER - don't blame me, I'm just the messenger! You find the stinky hits and rub in the dry massengil thoroughly to the skin, while keeping a firm grip on the mutts to avoid major spread while they try to rub on the rugs, bedspread, couch, etc., you all know the drill.

Then comes the piece de resistance - start with good hosedown of the massengil and then liberally apply #2 just like we do on our hair, in the hands first and use what you need to get entire pooch a bit foamy, rinse, repeat, rinse, repeat, rinse. Then get out your biggest bottle of #9 (we intend to start keeping a huge size on hand for future fun events.) Just like with our own hair, pat in and massage thoroughly, let sit, comb through, rinse, repeat the whole deal two to three times (please protect their noses and eyes), comb or doggy brush through, reapply just like we do on ours, let sit a bit while trying to convince hysterical dog he'll live! Rinse thoroughly, sniff test, if good, take 'em out, dry, comb through and apply small amount of #10B ME conditioner.

I swear that they will be easy to sleep with and the next day only the best noses will be able to tell even after they've been in the house alone for a few hours when you come in with a fresh nose..

Absolutely the most effective remedy we've ever found in almost thirty years.

I bought some of the Cellulite Soap !

Anyone who has cellulite know this stuff doesn't just disappear, quickly and I do have quite a bad case of it on my lower butt and thighs. All this lead in is to say I certainly didn't expect to have quick major improvements. And that didn't happen, which is perfectly OK, it's only been a month of regular use..

The big deal though is that the soap is wonderful to use and leaves a texture that I really like, definitely not dry but somehow less slippery even when I'm perspiring. It seems to keep working through to the next shower.

What is beginning to get me excited is that even though cellulite is still there it appears to be changing a bit, less big bumps (can we say craters, LOL). In those areas where I have very little, it now seem to be almost gone, it is not visible unless I do one of the famous squeeze tests. That's a huge confidence builder for me.

I'm really amazed and very much looking forward to what the next few months will do.

Should also mention that I do not have the advantage of youthful skin that springs back - 56.5yrs is approaching and it will be very interesting to see what improvements I can get at this age.

As usual Ms. Louise Marie comes through in even the most hard core aspects.

You have certainly outdone yourself again..over and over and over again!

When I opened the Rose Garden scented Sweet Scent-Sations Non-Salts scrub it looked good enough to eat! It reminded me of the cream icing that my grandmother used to make for cakes. And the smell is just divine and very authentic. I used it in the shower this morning and I felt like I was in the middle of a rose garden. It was a glorious way to begin my day. Of course my skin is always silky smooth after I use your salt scrubs.

I like to use your Non-Salts scrubs every day, so I go through them quickly. I prefer the scented ones that you have and I am looking forward to trying 'all' of them.

Tomorrow I will try the Lavender Leather scented Sweet Scent-Sations Non-Salts scrubs. That smells like a field of lavender again very authentic and calming. I think I might bring a small amount to work in a container and rub it on my arm or hand during the day.

I don't want to be pushy or suggestive but a body or hand cream like that would be absolutely divine...with any of the scents that you have created.
