Q: Do I have to be a Magicpack member to log in?
A:
No, all people who regularly order or occasionally order are welcome to use an account set-up because we care about you all and want to be able to help you faster and better:-)

Q: I'm a member, but I can't see any familiar members items I'm used to seeing in the old members catalog.
A:
Kindly log in to the cart because most members and previous orderers are already set up with public accounts or one with built-in member status before opening this new cart. if you have these concerns after logging in or cannot log in, please send us a FEEDBACK note, we don't mind helping:-)

Q:How can I view my past orders?
A:
Yes if you placed your order while having an account and while 'logged in'.

Just login by entering enter your user name and password, click the “My Account” link that now appears above in the yellow bar, and click the “View My Order History” link.

Q: I'm not a member but if I log in will I see more items too?
A:
That is the case with some levels of any accounts. Yes.

Q:Is my 'old username' that numbered one or the words one from the big old registry?
A :
No that was for the old forum. It is not the numbers. The/your username is a word or a name you probably picked out at the time. Fill out FEEDBACK form if you our help.

Q: I forgot my username.
A:
Peruse the password reset it will send you your username along with it via email.

Q: I forgot my password.
A:
Peruse the password reset sent to you upon request, it will at the same time send you a link to retype and reset your password.

Q: I have never registered in the old registry but I've ordered at 'hairgasm old catalog' before, do I have a username, what do I do?
A:
It is possible if you filled out the registry and profile in the old system. To check if you are in there...please enter your regular email address by typing it into the password retrieval area, to see if it acknowledges it, it will say it has sent you the requested email.

Q: Do I have to register before before filling my cart?
A:
We recommend that you do so but will be invited to log into your account during checkout. Orders cannot be switched to member status after being placed.

Q: Do I have to log in before filling my cart?
A:
No you don't if you are public it will transfer into logged in status if you log in during checkout when asked to. If you are a member here you won't see members items or be able to put them in your cart until you log in.

Q:What are the perks of having an account and logging in to this shopping cart?

Veeeery cool...when you shop logged in...  we save your cart contents until your next visit !! When you come back to the same computer it's still in your cart when you log back in....all so you can shop more conveniently.

You'll only need to type in your info once into this catalog, except for your creditcard info, which you will need to type in every time.

Logging in notes
Whether you are a Magicpack Member (please place order while logged in)or aren't a Magicpacker just yet (register as any type of orderer to be remembered and to be able to trace your order), THIS is the catalog you may use, all together:-) If you are a member already here and it doesn't recognize you, simply register here and then we have to push up your access level before you see all the items you are used to seeing.

Are you here yet?
Type in your email address to see if it already has you registered, likely we have you transferred in from the old system. Do be sure to fully log into this shopping cart before ordering so you can see all the items that pertain to your ordering level, Public or Magicpack Member. Anyone may also order on a public level without logging in, but it won't remember you or let you see your order next visit, nor will it save it in your basket if you like to you go and come back later.

Because We're Special!!!
In this new setup and we thank the new system programmers and their project manager especially for helping with our new customized software. They are finding that 'nothing' is common or standard about us or our clients, for example we like more 'couture' hands on order processing. That means you can ask for help if you need it, ...we're here for you, and can help add or adjust to your order if you need, unlike most places that you'd be afraid to order from.

Credit Cards
We choose not to instantly process your credit cards upon checkout, but do so in-house (by hand)after TLC shipping check, and order approval, everything is checked by hand and all questions are settled before processing if needed. (This approval time allows for any addition to orders for a 24 hour period) all of which we can happily do for you in the background after you post the order. We choose and prefer to retain that personal touch, most of our clients prefer that about us.

Q:How many logins do your websites have?
A: There is one set of username and password for hairgasm.com and one set for for member site planetlonghair.org or .com. Both logins and passwords are usually the same. That is all there is to remember. Planetlonghair site does not currently have a retrieve password feature so writing to us is what to do. Same info needed as above please.

Q: I already have an account from before, I have trouble logging in, what do I do?

A:
Use the old email address you used in registry, and do the password reset, the link is there right in the email the automated system sends you. Be sure to check your spam boxes just in case.

Q: I already have an account from before, I am still having trouble logging in, what do I do now?
A:
Using  the email address you used in registry and write to us describing what you are doing step by step and we'll help. Without you sending us this info, we cannot do it and it will have to be reset by phone. Please include as much info in the FEEDBACK FORM as you can. Be sure to select correct topic in dropdown menu to direct you message to the right place.


Q: I'm Canadian, so I can Email Money Transfer from my bank, what is the procedure?
A:
1) You place the order.
2) We email you the amount with finalized shipping (total amount)
3) Then you can use your Interac card from your on-line banking account emailing to orders@hairgasm.com.
 Do you bank on-line, you can set up with the bank to do on-line Certapay, easy, cheaper than a money order.Choose Interac bank card when in Canada from your account via email through your bank that is using Certapay(.com).

Q: How do I pay by Moneyorder?
A:
1) You place the order.
2) We email you the amount with finalized shipping (total amount)

3) At that point you may send us a money order to the address we'll send you with the quote.
Note please: If you are in any other country other than Canada you will need to use an specifically  'International' Money Order.

Q:I see you bill in CAD but you also show USD. Can I pay from any country at your site, with my credit card?
A: YES ...we show USD so you feel at home here:-) Then we always bill your card in CAD...how it works is your bank that owns your credit card, will convert for us and/or you automatically, at their own exchange rate. Just go ahead and place your order! No problem at all!

Q: What are the sizes of each bottle?

The Queen 32 oz is the 9" tall
(square shoulder)
The Large  16 oz  is the 8.5" tall (square shoulder)
The Regular 8 oz is the 7" tall (round shoulder)
The Student  4oz is the 5.5" tall
(round shoulder)
The Driver Sized 2 oz is the 4.25" tall (round shoulder)
The Flyer Sized 1 oz is the 3.5" tall
(round shoulder)

Soon we will put sizes on the labeling but it is currently cost prohibitive to do so many labels... but soon,we will certainly find alternate solutions :-)

Q: If I have ordered Beginners Kit, BTN and Surprise Kits...seems that  I'm almost there, and I have some left, can I get a smaller Magicpack?
A:
Yes you may qualify,  you need to be sure to keep yourself well stocked:-)

Q: I want to reset my password, but my email address has changed... what do I do?
A:
You will need to send us a feedback email. In the email box, provide your current email address. In the body of your message, tell us your old email address, and what you would like it changed to. We will change it right away for you, and then you will be able to reset your password.

Q: How do I make a good password?
A:
A strong password is important to ensure that your account remains accessible to only you. A good password should be at least 5 or 6 characters long, and ideally will include letters and numbers. You should try to make your password not easily "guessable"... this means you should avoid using words or numbers or dates that other people would think of being associated with you (like your birthdate, or mother's name). 
 

Q: Why is my tiny Canadian order put in a bigger box than I personally deem to be necessary.

A: Because Canada post has a box size minimum for the size of label they use on the outside of the box. if sent on anything smaller it will not quote for us, nor would it send properly, it would be returned to us at extra expense and delay.

Q: I am within Canada, and usually order without specifying speed. This time I requested Small packet, why was it sent Expedited?

A: Because Canada doesn't have Small Packet service like it does offer to places like the USA and some other countries. Expedited is essentially the same speed but does not allow for a smaller commercial mailing size than is required for sending Expedited.
