Medium-Widely spaced-tines combs especially for pre or free-combing, pre or post scalp scritching and massaging, dry use detangling, dry or oil use scalp rubbing and long combing.Fine-haireds love these especially.4-5 Tines per inch adds shine, strength, simple combing with zero-drag functionality, spreads your natural oils.The tines (what teeth go through the hair)are size-rated (hence sections they are sorted into)and not thickness rated but are relative to combs thickness.The X's are the comb's thicknesses noticeably but still approximately that many more times more than a slender specific to that model of comb. Example 4x is a much thicker and heavier comb than a 1x.
