*For treating your comb once every 1-2 months.Apply oil sparingly and massage into the comb. Let comb sit overnight wrapped in tissue, to help avoid accidental use and dust in the air. Next day wipe gently without twisting comb, using a slightly damp towel. Wipe clean before comb's use. Wiping is done by pinching the tines in the soft towel and pulling outwards away from the comb's spine. This special oil protects combs against moisture changes, and to beautify and extend the life of your Longhairs Horn Combs. This oil is not for scalp or hair use. Don't get combs wet and don't use horn combs on wet hair.
'Why do we use a slightly damp towel?' because the towel doesn't stick to it causing lint to remain on the comb. 'Why damp if no water is to go in the comb?' because the oil is already a barrier that is protecting it well.
